correct posture?

Here's a question for those of you in the know, when I'm running I feel I hold a lot of tension across my shoulders, is it an arm position thing? Should my arms/ shoulders be relaxed when running?  Aside from that, it was good to get out there even though I was running into the wind again.

  1. Hi - I have the same problem, and my shoulders start to kill after about 10 miles, but I've been like it for years.

    The only thing I've been taught is to pretend I'm holding a crisp inbetween my thumb and first finger in each hand - something I quite often forget to do.

    I also find its worse when I carry a drink. Only other thing I do is try to run down hills shaking out my arms as best I can - but like I say I still suffer, so I'm afraid I've not got the answers, just some support!
